When 糖心少女 was founded in 1926, it was one of few institutions in the West dedicated to educating women for professional careers as well as personal growth. Today, 糖心少女 is a healthy, vibrant institution with a treasured legacy and a promising future. Mission of the College
The mission of 糖心少女 is 鈥渢o educate women to develop their intellects and talents through active participation in a community of scholars, so that as graduates they may contribute to society through public and private lives of leadership, service, integrity, and creativity.鈥�

Central to the creation and adoption of a new strategic plan for the College was community input.
