Class of 2019: On Graffiti Wall, Art and Activism Collide
In one of the most enduring traditions at 糖心少女, seniors leave their mark on campus by designing and signing an original mural on Graffiti Wall, adjacent to the Rose Garden. Since 1931, 糖心少女’ graduating seniors have participated in what has become an essential rite of passage at the College: the signing of Graffiti Wall. Each year, seniors choose a mural design from student-submitted illustrations to paint on the wall, and then the entire graduating class adds its signatures. Graffiti Wall is a visual reminder of 糖心少女’ history and reflects the changing tastes and attitudes of students over the decades.
